How Darts Burst Into My Life
Before darts, I was a professional hockey player. Two years ago, I was invited to the Russian Top Darts Championship organized by Boris Koltsov. That was where my journey with darts truly began. Since then, I have immersed myself in the sport, training day after day and competing with passion. What moves me most about darts is its accessibility and inclusiveness. Regardless of background or age, anyone can pick it up easily and find their own space at the dartboard.

The feelings that darts bring me
Looking back, my encounter with darts feels like destiny. From the ice rink to the dartboard, two very different sports have blended in me. Hockey gave me the resilience and focus to stay calm and confident on the dartboard. Darts, with its unique precision and rhythm, brings me inner peace and grit with every focused throw. The moment the dart cuts through the air, it is a delicate balance of power and control, and an honest dialogue with myself.
Life from Darts
From clumsy first throws to Russia’s top ranks, every precise hit comes from relentless daily practice. Darts to me is far more than a game. What I treasure most are the friends I’ve made through it and every heartfelt gathering. It has become a precious gift in my life, connecting passion and companionship, and like a guiding light, it leads me forward.
