How Darts Burst Into My Life
For me, darts is my life. I used to play baseball, but an injury made it difficult to continue. That’s when I discovered darts—and realized it’s also a throwing sport. Wanting to return to the world of throwing, I started my journey with darts.
Later, I learned that professional darts tournaments exist, and I decided to become a pro myself. Now, I not only focus on competitions, but also strive to carry myself with a challenging spirit and proper conduct every day. My goal is to become a player who can positively influence others.

The feelings that darts bring me
In Japan, many people still see darts as just a recreational game. But I believe that darts, like any other sport, is a universal language shared around the world. It’s a sport that—no matter which country you go to—brings people of all ages and genders together, quickly and naturally. Like other sports, it inspires courage, respect, and a warmth that crosses borders. This bond that transcends distance and status has always motivated me, and I hope to pass it on to more people.

Life from Darts
I run a darts café and enjoy snowboarding in my free time. Darts has been part of my life for over half of it, and I’ve been actively promoting the sport — especially through visits to schools, hospitals, and local festivals.
These community-based activities not only help beginners get their first taste of darts, but also change the way people see the sport. Many once thought of darts as just a casual game, but through these events, many have come to genuinely love it. That gives me hope and joy. I will keep promoting darts, hoping to bring more people into the sport — to enjoy it, and to love it.
